Saturday, in the park...

I love that song. This Saturday we went to the Elmwood Park Zoo. Hubs has never been before. It was the second trip for big guy and I. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Eighty degrees and sunny. This time we loved the bison- they were really close to the fence and as they were eating they were stirring up dust that was hitting us. It was really cool! We also really liked the cougars pacing back and forth. Must have reminded him of his favorite kitty cat. BIg guy also thought the wolf running by was really cool. The goats were very fun as well. We ate some oatmeal in front of the cougars. We attempted to see the prairie dogs and the jerks were still in their burrows. Then he passed out on the way home.
