Today, big guy learned to sit up by himself! He has for weeks been doing a yoga/tripod/grabbing his toes move when he sits up. And then he would suddenly start slumping to the side- like he needed a V8. Yesterday, however, he sat up straight and could right himself if he started to go to far forward, backward, or to a side. It was fabulous!
He is still doing trust falls (Tosh.0-ism that is when you fall backwards and assume someone behind you is going to catch you before you hit your head!) So, we'll still have to be cautious- but this means that the big guy can now play by himself sitting up. Excellent (Mr. Burns finger steeple included!)
